We are located in Bastrop, TX, 30 minutes east of Austin on Hwy 71 in the Lost Pines Forest. The forest is a 13-mile stretch of over 6,000 acres of loblolly pine trees with a unique characteristic: it grows over 100 miles from the East Texas Piney Woods that are its genetic match. How the forest appeared here is part legend and part natural history.
The area near the Colorado River has hills covered in rich pines in the midst of the scrub oak and sage that are native to central Texas. This setting is ideal for outdoor nature photography and outdoor portraiture.
